Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 10th, when members of the Deputy Sheriff’s Associaition and other Placer county law enforcement officers, also known as the “Hogs,” take on a group of former NFL players in a game of flag football.
The day holds many other activities, including a celebrity Iron Chef tailgate barbecue. Eight teams will compete in a pre-game cookoff, similar to the TV ‘Iron Chef’ competition. Six-person teams will create either an appetizer, main dish or dessert using a secret ingredient that will be revealed the day before the contest.
All the fun begins at 3 PM at Roseville High School, including Cow Patty Bingo, halftime entertainment, raffles, contests and merchandise. Kickoff is at 5:15 PM.
Game tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for ages 7-17 and kids under 6 are free. If you order tickts soon there is a $5 discount per ticket.
